A large fire has broken out at a scrap metal factory in the south Auckland suburb of Takanini.
Seven fire crews rushed to Metalman on Rangi Road just after 8:30pm after calls about smoke in the area.
They found a pile of rubbish and scrap metal ablaze and were working to contain the blaze.
