A woman has died after a stabbing in the west Auckland suburb of Te Atatu, police have confirmed.
The incident happened at a property on School Rd on Saturday afternoon. Emergency services are still at the scene.
Waitemata police say they have detained a suspect.
Police inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
The incident is believed to be gang-related.
