Pig arrested for trespassing on Auckland's Northwestern Motorway

A pig has been taken into custody after trespassing on Auckland's Northwestern Motorway.

The animal, rumoured to be called 'Babe', was spotted by members of the public between Rosebank and Patiki Roads.

The pig is reported to have been hurt before being captured by the public.

The police now have the porcine creature in custody. It is not known what charges it may face.
