What child health issues does Red Nose Day aim to combat?

Child health statistics are letting us down in New Zealand.

Fifty percent of five-year-olds have tooth decay, while there are 40,000 hospitalisations each year for conditions associated with deprivation.

Cure Kids aims to combat these numbers and today is its annual fundraiser, Red Nose Day. Cure Kids chief executive Frances Benge spoke to Paul Henry about the charity's aims.
