A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a domestic dispute in the Wellington region of Wainuiomata.
Police were called to the scene on Wise St at 4pm on Sunday afternoon to reports of a father and son fighting.
One of the men received two serious wounds to the head and one to the arm, in what's believed to have been a machete attack.
Police say one person is now in custody and the weapon has been located.
