Emergency services are investigating a number of car fires throughout Christchurch on Tuesday night.
A Fire Service spokesperson says they received reports of three cars set alight at 10pm, and then a garage and car fire at 1am on Wednesday morning.

They also received call outs to other incidents and believe at least six cars were involved.
Police believe the fires are linked.
