Possible gang links in Lois Tolley homicide case

Police have no conclusive leads in the execution-style murder of Upper Hutt woman Lois Tolley, but say there may be gang links and one or more women may also be involved.

The 30-year-old was stabbed and shot at point-blank range, possibly with a shotgun, in her flat in early December.

Four young men were seen walking toward the house on the night of her death and leaving a short time later.

Police have been looking for those responsible since, and their investigations have turned up a number of leads.

However, they still want more information from anyone who might know anything about the case.

They say the Operation Archer homicide investigation team has spoken to a number of persons of interest, some of whom have gang connections.

Witness statements and CCTV footage has identified three cars of interest  blue, white and silver.

They haven't found the firearm or identified any offenders as yet.

But the net has been cast wider, with witness statements claiming one or more women were also involved.

Anyone with information should call police or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
