Early on a misty, overcast Dunedin morning, Newshub cameraman Grant Findlay received a tip-off about some special visitors.
He took his daughter Ellie to catch a glimpse of some visitors roaming Otago Harbour on Friday - a pod of about six dolphins.
They seemed to be milling around for a bit of breakfast near Company Bay, which attracted quite a crowd.
The pair slowly followed the pod as they got closer to the city.
