Attorney-General Christopher Finlayson is heading to Singapore and Malaysia for meetings on countering terrorism.
He leaves today along with our ambassador for counter-terrorism, Carl Worker.
Mr Finlayson is being hosted in Singapore by the Minister for Home Affairs and Law, and will also meet with the Attorney-General and Chief Justice.
In Malaysia he'll meet the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs.
Mr Finlayson says international cooperation on countering terrorism and other issues affecting national security is crucial in the current global environment.
