The search for a man who disappeared while swimming at Auckland's Muriwai Beach will resume Monday morning.
He was with another man when they both got into trouble, but rescue teams could only pull one to safety.
The Westpac Helicopter was involved in the search on Sunday night, which was suspended due to fading light.
Meanwhile at Lake Karapiro, another search will resume today for a young swimmer last seen around 3pm yesterday. Again, a helicopter was used in the search, which was also called off when light faded.
