Family's belongings wiped out in Auckland floods

An Auckland family has lost almost everything after Auckland was hit by torrential rain and flooding last weekend.

Kieran Connellan, broadcast engineer at Mediaworks, and his family, including a newborn baby and five-year-old, have been left with only a few possessions.

They evacuated their home after a small river flowed through their property and inside.

The entire street was flooded over, with water up to knee level.

A Givealittle page has been set up by The Breeze to help replace some of their belongings.
