A body has been found in the bush near Thames.
The body was discovered on Tuesday afternoon by a member of the public at Te Puru Forks.
It won't be recovered until Wednesday morning and the scene will be guarded overnight, a police spokesperson told Newshub.
Police have yet to formally identify the body.
Ann Louise Bunning has been missing from the same area since January. The 56-year-old was last seen at the Te Puru Holiday Park on January 30.
