Two separate crashes have closed parts of State Highway 1 north and south of Auckland.
The southbound lane of the Southern Motorway is closed between Mill Rd and Beaver Rd due to a crash, NZTA says.
Meanwhile on the Northern Motorway, a serious crash has closed both lanes near Wellsford.
NZTA says drivers should divert to SH16.
Drivers should expect major delays around the two crash spots.
