One person is dead after a car accident on State Highway 1, in Warkworth.
Polise say the man was ejected from the car during the crash and died at the scene. Emergency services found his body when they arrived.
The police serious crash unit is investigating the accident, which happened at Pohuehue just before 9pm on Sunday night.
