Police are hunting a person after a shooting in the Auckland suburb of Flat Bush.
Police have reported that just after midnight, a man was shot by an armed stranger standing in his driveway as he pulled into his property on Dunlaff Place.
He is now in a stable condition in Middlemore Hospital.
Inspector Jason Greenhalgh has confirmed officers are searching for the offender.
