Two people are in hospital after a mystery gas leak in Hamilton.
Waikato area commander Roy Breeze told Newshub they were called to the ProPharma building on Aztec Place address just before 5pm.
A woman had fallen unconscious and several of her colleagues felt sick after a smell of "LPG like gas" was lingering in the air.
The woman and another colleague who felt unwell were treated with oxygen and transported to Waikato Hospital.
Officer Breeze said 12 others were "decontaminated" in nearby rugby club showers.
Fire service officers went to investigate the leak and were not able to locate the source. For now the gas smell has subsided, Mr Breeze said, and the investigation will continue in the morning.
