Flights resume in Christchurch after foggy morning

Thick fog that blanketed Christchurch on Friday morning and interrupted flights in and out of the city has lifted.

Flights will now resume at rescheduled times.

Flights in and out of Christchurch were suspended from leaving the airport for most of the morning.

Authorities have issued warnings to motorists on the road to use their headlights while driving and urge them to drive to the conditions adjusting their speed to the visibility levels which has been limited to 100m in parts of the city.
