A 60-year-old man has died after suffering a medical event while using a lawnmower.
St John was called to a home on Old Barn Rd, south of Auckland, at 5:20pm on Saturday to find the lawnmower on top of the man.
A spokesman said it appeared he suffered a medical event prior to that happening.
A coroner will determine the exact sequence of events, which is still unclear, the spokesman said.
