A man is in serious condition in hospital after being shot in the leg at a nightclub in south Auckland.
Emergency services arrived at Vava'u Lahi on Cavendish Drive, Manukau, just after 2:30am on Sunday.
Police told Newshub the man was found injured inside the nightclub. Police are investigating as to where the shooting took place.
It's believed a brawl had taken place.
Police say the man was transported to hospital in a serious condition.
"Inquiries into the shooting are ongoing, however I can confirm the victim remains in hospital and his condition is improving," a police spokesperson told Newshub on Sunday afternoon.
