A woman who was struck by a vehicle in Taupō on Monday morning has since died from her injuries in hospital.
Police and emergency services were called to the rural address in Acacia Bay at 7:30 am, and the woman was taken to Waikato Hospital.
Police are investigating the incident and conducting a scene examination at the address, Det Snr Sgt Matthew Cranshaw says.
A man is assisting Police with their enquiries, and a post mortem examination will take place tomorrow.
