Police have found a man's body in Auckland's Waitemata Harbour on Monday morning.

The body was found in the harbour near Te Atatu at around 9:30am. It's since been recovered by the Police Maritime Unit.

A 29-year-old man has been missing in the harbour for just over a week after falling overboard during a cruise on June 3.

The search for him was called off last Monday.

Police have yet to formally identify the body found and recovered this morning.
