A Kiwi man has reportedly died after a cycling accident on the French island of Corsica.
Christchurch man Darryl Queen, 50, was cycling on a coastal road on the Mediterranean island when he crashed and fell six metres, French news website Franceinfo reports.
A rescue helicopter and paramedics were sent to the scene but could not revive him.
Mr Queen was believed to be holidaying near Calvi, a town in Haute-Corse in the northern part of the island.
The New Zealand Embassy in Paris is providing consular assistance to the family, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade spokesman says.
