A south Auckland Airbnb host is under fire for an advertisement stating no Māori or Pacific Island people could rent out their space.
The online booking company has since removed the discriminatory listings for the four-bedroom Flat Bush home.
The ad read: "Not suitable for alcoholism, smoking opium, no Māori people, no island people," Fairfax reports.
After the initial post was removed, the same host put up a second listing - which also said "no Māori plz".
Airbnb is an online hospitality service which enables users to lease short-term stays in their apartments.
Last year the hashtag #AirBnBWhileBlack became a social media trend, highlighting discrimination people of colour have experienced on the app.
It prompted the site to knuckle down. In July, a Californian woman was fined $5000 for cancelling a woman's stay at her property because she was Asian.
The woman was also ordered to take a course in Asian-American studies, and was banned for life from the booking platform.
