Police are hunting for a patched member of the Head Hunters gang in Auckland.
Authorities carried out two search warrants in Glendene and Glendowie on Wednesday morning where they found half a kilogram of methamphetamine, more than $50,000 in cash, a handgun as well as chemicals and equipment used in the manufacturing of meth.
Police are now looking to locate 44-year-old Justin Martin Unwin, who is a patched member of the West Chapter of the Head Hunters motorcycle gang.
They are hoping Unwin can assist with enquiries.
Police urge anyone who knows where he is to urgently contact Detective Sergeant Pete Reynolds from the Police Motorcycle Gang Unit on 09 259 0680.
