Police 'seriously concerned' for missing mother and toddler

Police are searching for a missing mother and her two-year-old son in west Auckland who haven't been seen since Saturday morning.

Tina Whaitiri, 45, was last seen on August 19 after she left a Kelston address.

Police say they have serious concerns for Tina's welfare and for her young son, and want to speak with her to make sure the pair are okay.

Ms Whaitiri was wearing black pants and a black long sleeved top, with her son in an older style model, bright green push chair.

She has numerous contacts in Avondale, West Auckland, Levin, Horowhenua and Paeroa.

Anyone with information which may assist police should contact Waitakere Crime Car on 09 837 9511.

Police say if you know where Tina is call 111.
