Police chase victim's mother pleads for change to police pursuit rules

In the wake of another police pursuit ending in death there are renewed calls for change to how pursuits are conducted in New Zealand.

Jo Hall spoke to Three's The Project about how she believes that New Zealand Police should stop taking part in so many pursuits.

Ms Hall's son Judd was killed in a police pursuit four years ago as a passenger in a vehicle fleeing police in Greymouth.

She says she's not the only parent that has had to deal with the pain of losing a child in vehicle accidents, and police involvement in pursuits needs to change.
