Two people have died in separate accidents after falling off quad bikes on Saturday.
Police were called to a rural property in Eketahuna, Manawatu, at around 10:10am after a person came off their quad bike.

In a second incident, a person in their late 60s died after coming off their quad bike in Okiwi Bay, Nelson, at around 11:45am.
The serious crash unit has been called to investigate both scenes, and both cases will be referred to the coroner.
