17,000 families need help this Christmas

Poverty doesn't take a break at Christmas time. 

The Salvation Army estimates it will help up to 17,000 families this year with food parcels and gifts leading up to the Christmas Day.

The Salvation Army's head of social services, Major Pam Waugh, spoke to Duncan Garner.
