Four fire trucks battled a large fire that engulfed a unit on Auckland's North Shore early on Monday morning.
The unit was part of a block of flats on Meadowood Dr in Unsworth Heights.
"There's a block of units, and the fire has involved one unit," a Fire and Emergency spokesperson told Newshub.
"The fire has been extinguished. A single fire crew remains there at the moment and a specialist fire investigator is on their way."
The unit was destroyed, however there were no injuries.
