Wellington fire crews are attacking a three-storey house fire at the southern end of the Terrace.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson told Newshub the fire is in the roof, which poses a risk that it could spread to other homes.
Around seven trucks were called to the home just before 4pm.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
