A passenger has died following an incident in which a car rolled on State Highway 12 in the Far North on Friday morning.
Police were called to the crash between Duddy Rd and Ayrton Rd just after 8am. A driver and a second passenger are being treated for minor injuries at Rawene Hospital.
In a second incident in Dunedin, the driver of a truck became stuck after his vehicle rolled.
The incident happened at the corner of George St and Great King St North.
Traffic is down to one lane heading south into the city from Pine Hill Rd on State Highway 1.
In Hamner Springs, Lewis Pass Rd is blocked following a truck and trailer accident.
