A child is in a critical condition following a tractor crash on the West Coast.
The young boy was flown to Christchurch Hospital on Thursday morning after the vehicle fell down a bank.
The incident occurred at about 9:30am, on Nelson Creek Rd in Ngahere, Grey District.
WorkSafe and the Serious Crash Unit have both been notified, police say.
