Two people have escaped after a car plunged into the Blue Lake near Rotorua.
The crash happened outside the Blue Lake Top 10 Holiday Park just after 2.30pm on Wednesday.
A police spokesperson says the car is still in the water and will need to be towed.
She says the occupants don't appear to have serious injuries.
