Police are speaking to a trio who led police on a chase in a stolen car through Auckland.
It happened at around 8:30pm on Thursday, starting on the North Shore.
Authorities were forced to use road spikes, finally bringing the car to a halt on the Southern Motorway near Ellerslie.
Nobody was injured in the pursuit which also brought State Highway 1 down to one lane.
