The moment a food truck recovery attempt in the Kaimai Ranges went wrong has been caught on camera.
Rescue workers can be seen attempting to pull the vehicle upright, as it lay on its left-hand side on a sloped road on Tuesday.
It had rolled on State Highway 29 at around 10:15am, blocking two lanes between Waikato and Tauranga for a few hours. Nobody was injured.
But when the workers managed to pull it upright, it doesn't last long - immediately flipping back down onto its other side.
The man behind the camera can be heard laughing.
"That is a classic. How did they not see that happening?"
It is unclear how long it took to send the vehicle on its way.
