A man has died after suffering a head injury in Tauranga on Sunday night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 10:40pm to treat a 52-year-old man who suffered a serious head injury.
He was pronounced dead at 11:15pm.
Police are speaking with the victim's family and will conduct a scene examination later on Monday.
Police are calling for witnesses in Courtney Road, Wilrose Place, or Fraser Street between 9pm and midnight on Sunday night.
