February 14th is "Little Heart Day".
We are recognising this day in NZ by asking everyone to -wear red for the day, a day which is normally recognised as Valentine's.
Ben McDowell is a 24 year old Coronary heart disease survivor.
He has undergone three open heart surgeries and numerous other procedures for his heart.
He spoke to Duncan Garner.
