A person is fighting for their life after a car fire in west Auckland on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson says they were called to a house in Te Atatu just after 8am where a car was on fire in the driveway.
They say it was put out on arrival but unfortunately one person suffered serious burns.
The person was taken to hospital in a critical condition, police say.
Police are working with the fire service to establish the cause of the fire.
