Thirteen fire trucks have extinguished a major fire in the Auckland suburb of Mt Eden.
Emergency services were alerted to the blaze at the Namaste Indian restaurant just before 8pm Friday.
It's believed the fire started in the kitchen.
Roads in the area were closed, but although two ambulances and a breathing apparatus unit attended, Fire and Emergency reported no injuries.
Fire investigators are now on the scene.
