Four people have been injured in a crash in Matamata, Waikato.
The accident occurred when a car collided with a truck at the intersection of SH29 and SH27 at around 9:45am on Friday morning.
One person is in a critical condition, one is in a serious condition and two other occupants have moderate to minor injuries.
Helicopters are en route to the scene and emergency services are in attendance.
Cordons are in place and drivers are being asked to avoid the area and use diversions where directed.
