Former US President Barack Obama will be officially welcomed to New Zealand on Thursday afternoon.
A pōwhiri by Ngāti Whātua at Government House in Auckland will be followed by a meeting with Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
He will then speak at a private event in Auckland on Thursday evening, organised by the New Zealand United States Council.
