Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died after being found seriously injured outside a bar in Flaxmere, Hawke's Bay.
He was found unresponsive outside the Flax Bar and Eatery around 10:45pm on Sunday night. Emergency services failed to revive him.
The man's injuries prompted police to launch a homicide investigation. He has not yet been identified.
