A 6-year-old boy has died after a ute went down a bank.
The fatal crash happened on Turakina Valley Rd, between Kauaekeke Rd and Bald Hill Rd, in the Rangitikei District.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which happened just after 2pm on Tuesday.
Three passengers in the ute were driven to Wanganui Hospital, while another was winched out by a helicopter and flown to the hospital. Their injury statuses are unknown.
The crash is under police investigation.
