Another small fire has broken out at Wiri Women's Corrections Facility in south Auckland - the third blaze at the prison in a week.

Emergency crews were called at around 9:30pm on Monday to extinguish it.

No one is believed to have been injured.

A Corrections investigation last week revealed two inmates in an intimate relationship were behind two previous fires at the prison.

They wanted to be put in a cell together.
