Police have confirmed all wind surfers missing in Wellington Harbour have been found safe and well folllowing a search involving a rescue helicopter, the Coastgaurd and Fire and Emergency NZ.
Newshub understands there may have been as many as 12 in trouble, following an event in Petone on Saturday morning.
Police have thanked all those involved in the search for their help.
