A woman has died in hospital after being hit by a car in the south Auckland suburb of Mangere.
The woman was struck shortly after 7am on Thursday on Idlewild Ave.
Emergency services took the woman to hospital in a serious condition but she passed away on Thursday night.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
