A man has died while diving near Rotorua on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the man got into trouble while diving at Lake Rotoma around 4:30pm.
After he was pulled from the water, rescuers attempted CPR, but he couldn't be revived.
In a statement, police said their thoughts are with the man's family and friends.
