A pedestrian has been killed after being struck by a car on Auckland's North Shore on Thursday.
Police say the victim died at the scene in Northcross.
"Emergency services were called to Oteha Valley Rd near Mayfair Drive at 7:33am," police said.
"The pedestrian has died at the scene and the road is currently closed, with serious crash unit on the way."
Diversions are in place and people asked to avoid the area.
