A building near Auckland Airport was evacuated this morning due to a suspicious package.
Staff at the NZ Post Mail Centre on Laurence Stevens Dr called police around 9am after coming across the package.
Emergency services werethere, and the Defence Force was called in.
After about an hour it was determined there was no risk. A NZ Post spokeswoman said all staff were safe and well and have been let back into the building.
It's unclear at this stage why the package was deemed suspicious.
