Two people have been injured in a collision between a car and a train in Westland.
Emergency services were notified of the accident just north of the Main Chesterfield Rd crossing on State Highway 6 at around 2:30pm on Saturday.
There were only two occupants in the car and police say they are not yet sure of the seriousness of their injuries.
The serious crash unit has been notified.
